My Rotten Johnny from Nolatone Ampworks arrived today! Yahoo!!

15 watt hand-wired combo, cathode biased, 6V6 tubes, Celestion Heritage Series G12M (20w) Greenback speaker.

First time I've tried this speaker. It has a very smooth, creamy sound. Lots of mids, which is a different approach for me, but I rather enjoy it for a change.

Has a solid state rectifier, but will also take a tube for some vintage sag.

I've had only minimal playing time on the amp this evening, but it has been a blast discovering how all the controls truly interact with each other.

The Mid control is VERY dynamic and responsive, and a footswitchable "mid lift" provides a nice crunchy boost.

At 15 watts, the amp becomes more of an instrument, since you can open it up and let it sing. I could not do this with my 50 watt 6L6 amp. WAY TOO loud.

I'll work on some pics and clips.
