Robert

Last time I was in Malmo, I visited Johan's shop. In fact I have a photo of me in myspace page, where I hold a semi-finished JG guitar! :D

Johan seemed to me a very nice guy, and a truly great luthier. He had some high standards about guitar building methods, parts, etc, which he doesn't compromise upon.

Ok, now for the bad news. Unless something has radically changed recently, all guitars are built by hand and Johan can make only a few per year. You are looking to, perhaps, a couple of years of wait time.

No tummy bevel?

Spud, all of Johan's guitars are 100% custom, he just offers a few "model" designations to base your individual instrument on. I don't believe he'd have any problem implementing any custom contours, etc, that you'd like. :)

Thanks abraxas - I emailed him and asked. I'll let you know what I find out.

OK Robert, let us all know what's the situation with JG guitars at the moment. :AOK:
