On May 27, a new Hiatt album, "Same Old Man".

http://www.johnhiatt.com/

Same Old Man was recorded at Highway 61 Recordings and produced by John Hiatt. Appearing on the album are Kenneth Blevins on drums, Patrick O'Hearn on bass and Luther Dickinson on guitar, mandolin and national resonator.
John's daughter, Lilly Hiatt, sings harmony on the songs "Love You Again" and "What Love Can Do."

Here's an older video from Austin City Limits with Michael Ward on guitar.

Hey Robert,

Glad to find another fan of John Hiatt.

Would you have a method of finding words and music to some of his songs with Little Village? Been looking for Walk On, but cannot seem to find it.

Any and all help is appreciated,,,

Steve

Robert,

Not knowing much about this stuff, I think I hear some minor chords. More concerned with it being in a tuning and going from there.

Again, any and all help,,,

PS: While you are at it, could you give me a feel for the song, "Don't Go Away Mad", from the the Little Village album??

I apologize for any unforseen problems that this request may cause....

Thanks,

Steve

I like him a lot I have 7 or 8 albums from him and really love him specially The Bring the Family album with Ry Cooder my musical hero ;o) I love also Stolen moments with the song Kid's gloves and Tiki bar is open. I never had the chance to see him live it's one of my dreams ;)

He has a great way of writing songs great class and lots of sensibility really a great exemple of what U.S has produced the best :master:

Very happy to hear that a new album is on the way :AOK:

P.S The Littel Village project was really fantastic too bad that it didn't last :thwap:

John Hiatt is just too cool.
Not to mention Sonny Landreth tours with him!

My band does a cover of 'Drive South' - great tune.
