Camrose, Alberta, Canada - used to be Umea Sweden.
The new album is fantastic. One of his best.
Live, he might not be all that energetic, but anyone who wants to see him, better do so soon. Like BB King, I don't think there will be too many opportunities for much longer. I hope I'm completely wrong!
 
He plays a local club here every year. He & the band play VERY loud, so be forwarned. I passed on the last show, 'cause he plays the same setlist each time. Your show should be different in light of his new album, tho. And pay attention to stage left - Scott is an awesome bass player!
 
And like BB, he sits to play now, so figure that in when buying your seats.
 
Red Deer is 1.5 hours from here.

I should go see him huh? He looks so fragile, it could be the last chance to see him around Alberta.

I'm not up on the current Johnny Winter. I listened to his "golden years" when I was a teenager.

Zip I doubt he did or does this set all the time.good point about the new album being different or influencing now. be good to hear him today.
