We haven t had that much snow here in the Quebec city Area this winter but today a juicy storm is hitting the province ..
Some 14 inches of ''very'' wet heavy snow are falling + 60 mph winds ..

Hey April , come on down we need :help :help

Lucky you. We aren't getting anything this year. I just did a 1,000 mile drive through Idaho and Montana and it's really brown. Ugh! I'm glad your're getting some Blaze. :poke

UGH!! Yet again, we are under the barrel of 8-18" depending on the exact track this storm takes. I am so sick of SNOW.

I mean, if you live in Quebec, you kinda EXPECT a lot of snow....not here in Philly, at least not as much as we've had this year.

Yup. My favorite part of the whole thing is that the city of Philadelphia never budgets any money for snow removal. It's OK though -- it's not like we get snow every year...wait a second...yes we do!

This entire winter I've been thinking of an email I got back in high school that was roughly the same idea as this:

http://www.wernersplace.com/minnesota.htm

If you google for it, you'll find them with varying locations replacing the 'Minnesota', but you get the idea.

Also, while googling, I found the following quote, which I like a lot:

"We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true."

Yep, you re right but i heard about El Nino is affecting the North American 2010 weather ..
Most of the storm are hitting south of Canada except for Maitimes(NewFoundland ,Nova Scotia etc..)

Here in Quebec(Vancouver also, 3000 kms away ) we re having an almost green grass winter at some point but March is storm month so we re not out of it yet..

The Golf Masters = end of winter here , i m lookin forward to see Tiger , Phil & cie battle for the green jacket..

We've been expecting it to do *something* here the past couple days.. it's been overcast and grey and scary...

Yeah, yeah, yeah...you're sick of snow. We get it.

Hey, we all have our crosses to bear. So, you have to layer the clothes on and go outside and shovel snow...I have to go outside in my shorts and T-shirt and clean the pool. Sheesh...!:poke

We've been pretty short of snow this winter in southern Ontario and could use a bit more of the white stuff... but drive an hour or two north of here and it's a whole different ballgame. I don't like driving in it, but I do like to see some on the ground. I've had a shiny new snowblower in the garage since before X-mas, and it's as shiny as the day I brought it home.
I'd like to use the sucker at least once this season... sheesh!

interesting...here in finland I don't think there has been this much snow during my lifetime. now its been freezing for almost two months straight - the coldest in 50 years, almost all the time below -20 and a LOT ofsnowfall. myyard fence is to my shoulder height and its buried now.I keep the driveway clean but its now hard as I cant lift the snow up to the sides because they're so high....the driveway is now a trench between walls of snow.

Fun!
