I'm trying to figure out the signal flow for the Rolling Stones' "Love is Strong" rythm guitar (Richards' part). I'm assuming he was using his Micawber Telecaster (with a Gibson Burstbucker) because that's what he plays in the video and most concerts. However, there seems to be a small clip I found on YouTube.com from the latest European tour that seems to suggest that the tone is achieavable with a "regular" single-coil neck Tele, but then again that clip has been filmed with a cellular phone so it might as well be the lighting that makes it appear as though it's a single coil neck.
I'm interested in the pickup configuration (which pickups is he using?), what effects the signal passes through, and what amp he's using. Of course, the more detailed the better (i.e. all the knobs on everything & stuff)
.
Hope I'm not asking the impossible, and thank you in advance for your answers.
And yes, I did try to find out for myself first, but I couldn't get all that information from searching the Net.
