I have two pretty high-dollar acoustics, a Santa Cruz (with Fischman rare earth magnetic pickup) and a Larrivee (with LR Baggs M1A active sound hold pickup). Both these guitars sound gorgeous acoustically, but plugged in, merely adequate; not suprisingly, neither pickup really captures the acoustic sound if the instruments (which makes me wonder why I spent all that $$ when a cheapie Tak woulda resulted in the same thing.)

So a while ago I picked up a good quality lavalier condenser mic and want to try using that as well to try to give more realism to the sound.

My question is, what's the best way to do this? Anybody have any experience attaching lav mics to acoustics? How'd you do it?
