Well, Alessa's out of the coma, she has NO pain at all from her RSD/CRPS, she can stand and today, she took her first steps with assistance from me!!! Talk about your PRICELESS Mastercard moment. She and I walked up and down a 75 ft hallway 4 times. It TIRED her out to be sure but she wanted to do it and WE are all thrilled. :bravo:

Look Who's Walking!!

No pics as it was just Alessa, myself and my wife. Alessa and I walked and my wife was behind Alessa, pushing her wheelchair in case Alessa got tired and needed to rest and sit down. I couldn't believe how well she walked with virtually no help from me!! She was shakey at physical therapy late last week and had tried nothing WALKING-wise since Friday other than just standing to get in and out of her wheelchair. Big JUMP today!!

That's great news!

If only my guitar playing could progress at such a level :D I'd be Eddie Freakin' Van Halen in no time! ;)

Thoughts, prayers, good wishes, positive energy, good karma, or whatever cranks your tractor continue to head your way.

Cheers

That is great to hear- I'm glad everything is progressing well, and am looking forward to hearing more great news! :bravo:

Woohoo! Thanks for sharing your good news - nice to know that things are going well in your corner of the world! Reminds me of how much I take for granted on a daily basis. Best wishes for continued improvement!

This is great news! Physical therapy will let her get her strength back; I know from rehabilitation from knee surgery.

Look Who's Walking

Thanks to ALL for the postive words and prayers. Today, was a carbon copy of yesterday, so WOO-HOO yet again.

Beautiful news Pie, it's great to know that God is still around taking care of those who ask his help and is still listening to prayers sent His way. May He continue to bless your household and give your daughter the chance to have the good life she has been deprived off for so long. Take care my friend.

That's fantastic news, piebaldpython! Tell Alessa that we're all still pulling for her to continue her rapid recovery, and y'all are still in our continued prayers!:AOK:
