I rebiased the SED Winged Cs down to 60% and they sounded more 3D but still have a little husky voice that's just sweet. I'd never thought these new production tubes can sound like the NOS tubes. I remember how the tube amps sounded back in the 60s-70s and I was hoping to recapture them without buying the NOSs.

I jammed this morning and it was a blast. :dance

Glad to to hear it.
They're probably my favorite for the styles of music I most often play.
Like you, others also have referenced the "vintage vibe" of this tube.
It's like everything is "just right" for blues, rock, classic rock.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about, the vintage vibes, you said it better. I play a lot of rock and metal but the clean, oh man that's the creamy sound I hoped to recapture.
