This is a Deep Purple cover from "Who Do We Think We Are."

The first time I performed this was for a high school assembly. I think I was a Sophomore. Needless to say as soon as I was done the principal wanted to have a word with me.

I could definitely see the agitation going around the room among the adults. I'll never forget the grimace on the principles face either. If I would have had shoes on I would have started running.

What, you were playing barefoot too? Or did you have clogs on? ;-) The mental pic of the young you running with a guitar in hand makes it even better. Kind of like Tony Alva running from the cops, skateboard in hand, busting the Dogtown boys at a drained pool in Malibu.
