Nice, nice, nice...

Great take, Swede! Man, you nailed it, the vibe, the playing, and that JCM setting rocked. I didn't notice the levels being un-even, but I could hear where you dug in and where you laid back. Really nice.:D

What did I tell you about apologies young man? *bonk* ;)

This is an excellent example of

a) some choice playing over a fine mellow groove

b) some smokin' hot sexy JCM800 sounds from your Tonelab

c) some most excellent and creative use of a killer Schecter in split coil mode

I rate this a 5 star. *****

Most Excellent Swede... added to playlist.. great job!! can it get any better? I don't think soooooo... shweeeeeeeeeet...

(insert applause smiley here)

*bonk* Thanks Oldguy, Justa & Tone.. It was pretty much a hit and run recording, but I thought that some parts turned out quite nice.
I´m looking forward to hear some of your fine playing Tone, now that you have a Pod! :)

...Warren knows that your going to like it....

LMAO. He will be right too! I just plugged it in and turned it on...staring at it and moving the presets up and down. I don't have a guitar with me though but its all I can get away with at the moment. :) It came with a manual and a CD. Ummm what is the CD for anyway? Yeah I know, RTFM. (read the f'in manual)

Ok now back to your clip. What were your Tonelab settings for that JCM800 model? I agree with you in that the Schecter really makes good use of that split coil function.

You´ll get everything you need on Line6´s website. Download the Line6monkey (!) and it will download automatically the current editor and stuff.

Swede.
That clip made paying the bills much easier to deal with. Thanks. It sounded great and kept me in a good mood. Superb playing.

Tone.
Hurry and post yours so that I can balance my checkbook without starting the house on fire.

Awesome Swede, that was Super Deluxe!! I am going to go put it on while I go start the bedtime battle here. Cool backing track not so Oldguy! :DR :D :DR

Very well done! Your tone is great but I do not think that this does only come from your modeling amp, but from your fingers :-)

No shred, good phrasing and an enormous sense of melody.

Your track makes my white mocca latte even taste better!

Perfect!

Yup, exactly what Jimi said! Very nice, SS! :DR

Oh, I say! Deep, lush and beautiful tone + wonderful playing = clip to remember. Well done.

Soulful and tonefull, wonderfully played. That was a real treat.

Doesnt anyone else want to have a go on this backing track?

Btw, how can I use the new clapping smilie? It would be nice in the smilie "bin" when you create a new post.

reminds me of ...

What a great, sensual piece of playing. Thing they say about music, like smell, is it evokes memories and visions (even without stimulants!). This great track takes me to a summer evening, on a patio overlooking water, maybe a slow dance with a special person, maybe just some great conversation with good friends. I listen to this track, and I'm there! Which is really nice on a frigid day in February.
Thanks.
I'll take a track at this backing track -- not as hot as this, I'm sure -- when I can figure out how to convert MP3s to WAV files, which I need to import to the hard disc recording unit.

Agree with what everyone said - beautiful tone & phrasing. I think that clip may have done as much for the tonelab as Robert's video's have done for valvetronix amps. I other words - I want one! Vox rules!

Helliot, Audacity will also convert MP3 to WAVs and visa versa with the LAME thing installed which is linked to on the same site.

Holy Cow, that is some stellar playing SS. Somehow I missed it before.

Ya know *I* have a Tonelab & it doesn't sound like that. I'm hoping that there is a secret SS model that allows me to play like you!

Spudinator,

Super Duper and I will be colaborating on a little jamming project coming up here soon. I'm still working on the drum parts and will redo bass and guitar rhythms using MY NEW POD YEAH!

Nice! Now you made me want a tremolo equipped guitar, I really really liked the trem dive you did early in the track. I dont have any clapping smilies, but please accept this instead:
