Me & 2 amphs ;).

I really like running my Barber Launch Pad to drive two amps (they can be clean boosted differing amounts).

My 2 amphs are a Fender Champion 600 & a VOX AD30VT. They sound sweet together.

Does anyone else do this? If so, how do you split the signal & which amphs do you use?

One clean, one dirty?

Enquiring minds want to know ;).

If I have room on a stage, I'll A/B a Johnson with my Germino. I leave the Germino set to just starting to distort a bit for that great "clean with a little hair". I use the Johnson for all of the other sounds I need. I connect them with a Framptone amp switcher.

I'd like to try that out. I usually get too loud w/ one amp at home, tho.
Tube amphs sound good cranked up loud, (really loud) IMHO. :D :D :D

About the volume: Ideally I would have run them both louder, but I did like what I heard anyway.

I had each running below the volume that I would have run them on their own.

On benefit of the Champion 600 is that it sounds good at lower volumes than most 5 watters (or so I hear) due to it's (sometimes maligned) itsy-bitsy 6 inch speaker.

The AD30VT can also get decent tone at a decent volume.

I could see punching in the second amp (perhaps with a pedal in it's signal chain) for leads.

If I had the money & a place where I could crank things, I think it would be sweet to get amphs (& cabs) with different tonal characteristics say a clean Fender of some type add in a VOX AC30 for some chiming crunch & a Marshall for leads.

One up them boo-teek pedal freaks by using boo-teek amphs as pedals :D!
