mods for ibanez grg

so i have an ibanez grg, and i would like to start modding it, right now it sounds fairly mediocre, what would be some simple things i could do to make it sound better? i have already blocked off the tremolo.

keep in mind i have some wiring experience and i am quite good at wood working.

i have a marshal mg15dfx, no pedals.

its lacking in sustain, and it feels empty almost, i would like a fuller tone with more bottom end.
