Here's a pic I just took of my electric guitar family. They are all inexpensive, but they all play very nice, sound good, and look great.

The "#8" thing comes from another forum...A way of referring to cheaper guitars...Long story.

:D

Very nice Kerc.
I noticed that you have so many guitars now that they are all outside. You should try building a new wing onto the house for them. That way the weather wont get to them.:D

I like the Danno's. Tres' cool.

I like all of them, but that blue pick on the '51 just sets it off so nicely...yummy!
But then again, that maple neck on that Tele. OOhhh.
And that finish on the convertible...WOW!
Aww, heck, I like 'em all.:D

nice looking "family"....let's see other collections (i'll photograph mine later....soon)
Well, if you insist. I posted this in my Squier '51 thread too. Here's my gang of three. From left to right: 2006 Squier '51, 2004 Fender Showmaster Celtic H, 1988ish Charvel Model 7. All I need is a nice bass to add to this. Don't tell my wife I typed that :)

Right on Kerc, any comments on the Slammer ? I saw some new ones in a pawn shop selling for about $130 Can. but wasn't sure about them.

Wow. You all got me drooling on the keyboard again. And nowt hte keyss startr stickkingf. Dannnnngggittt.

Very nice collection my man and thanks for reminding me I need to get some pics up...soon as stop being lazy and get some batteries for my camera

Thanks for the comments! :D

Sunvalleylaw: The Washburn LT2 has a mahogany body, and a bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Its scale length is like a Gibson, and the compact body design makes it look tiny against other guitars, but it's really comfy to play. I am/was planning to turn it into a pseudo Gretsch Corvetter with some GFS pups, but I think I might just sell it. It plays very nice, though.

Spudman: Hahahaah, I catually have a hobby/storage room where they usually reside, and keep a coupleof them in stands in the living room (blessed be my wife)...

DVM: Danos are great lil machines. That Convertible is an original 1960's axe...And sounds louder and resonates way better than many modern thin acoustics I've tried!

Kerc that convertible is a really cool axe... and the pluggled sound? what do you think about it? is it just like a U2 or a DC?

I too wanna hear 'bout them Danos. Could you record a lil' sumpin' with one of them?

...& we've got all day to hear the #8 story....

Tomas, you troll. ;)

One of these days you'll find a puddle of blue water on the floor and the Siggi neck lying on top of it.

:D

So many nice guitars you guys have! I stupidly passed up on buying a Slammer. Well, actually, I was almost home when I decided to go back and try it again but it was sold before I got back :(

Oh well. That Charvel tele reminds me of a similar Kramer tele I once played. Too many nice guitars :R

ok here is the girls saphire blue 2005 hwy1, agile les paul copy, daphaine blue squire, washburn I64, peavey reactor, have a parts castor apart right now will post when shes fully dressed, and have to borrow my epi special back from my son to get pic of her

Dude! You gotta stop buying those squashed guitars! That's gotta affect how they play!! ;)

Seriously, it looks like you may be resizing those photos to the wrong aspect ratio. They're currently posted as 512x482. Try saving them at 480 x 640. Here's the Daphne Blue Squier Strat at that aspect ratio:

Vood, those gitfiddles are *ACTUAL SIZE!* You just lay'em in your palm & fret with your thumb n' first three fingers and strum with your pinky.

Of course, *every* chord sounds like an EFlatDom13/A sus 6.
