Back in my day when I use to hang around with, oh darn, what's his name again - tractor guy, that's it. Anyway it was mandatory that we sang Proud Mary every morning before class started. The whole darn nation had to do it until some hippie type came along and pushed for it to be unconstitutional.

Fortunately it was replaced by Hendrix's version of Star Spangle Banner - rock on dudes and dudettes.
