I can't believe I actually freaking liked this.

-Not a big fan of cookie monster vocals
-Don't see how bagpipes, flute, violin, and hand cranked stringed instruments fit into metal (someone tell me what the hell THAT thing is).

But it works, including the flute solo!

I like it except for the vocals, which would be more effective in small doses, imho. Interesting juxtaposition of instruments, though!

I suppose this is what "folk metal" is? I've heard that moniker before but never heard any bands. Rather melodic too, other than the vocals. I suppose if he didn't do the Cookie Monster thing, nobody would put them under "metal" at all.
