NAD (sort of!) - Vox amPlug AC30

Not really an amp as such, but I was given one of these little gadgets by my thoughtful wife:

Very cool little device. I got the AC30 one and it's terriffic. We have a small apartment so headphones are the go most of the time, and this unit puts out a much better range of tones than my old ss amp, and is so simple to use. It has gain, tone and volume control, plus an aux input for an mp3 player. I play backing tracks through it and it's terriffic. $50 (in Aus) and you've got a world of AC30 bliss right there on tap!

Also means that when I finally acquire a new proper amp, I don't have to worry about a headphone jack, so tubes here I come!

My wife got me one too when I first got my guitar last year, it really is a great piece of kit for the price. I have some health problems and often can't sleep so it's fantastic just being able to grab it and play in the small hours without waking everybody else and it really does have a very cool tone.
