By the time it's show time he'll probably have to do the show laying down. Which is OK because I picture him more as the reclining Confucius rather than the vertical Henny Youngman.

Just got a new amph. Many thanks go out to Voodooman. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have this beautiful Peavey Delta Blues. His packaging is the best I've ever seen and everything arrived undamaged from all the way across he USA. Thanks bud.
You're more than welcome, Steve! We aim to please! I spent 45 minutes packing up that !@?#$&%*! thing! :reallymad: Worth the effort, though, if it arrived in primo shape. :dude:

LOUDER!!!
Well, lemme tell ya--if you want LOUD, this baby's got it. That's the only reason I sold it--it just was w-a-a-a-y more amp than I needed for my modest play-at-home-and-maybe-occasionally-at-church needs. The thing's got cojones muy grande! I'll miss that punchy clean tone and great onboard reverb & tremolo, but I know it went to a good home.... :AOK:

If the show takes place in the tot_Ou_sphere you won't be able to tell the difference between the two ;).

Perhaps comedy is a superposition of Confucius & Henny Youngman & it is only polarized points of view that cause it to collapse into one or the other.

Exactly bodhisattva.:AOK:

I just got to hear the maiden licks emitting from Spudley's new addition (over the phone). Man, that was nice. I can't believe you let that go Vood! Congrats Spud!

Hey, you Steves - that's almost like phone sex, isn't it?!
:D :D :D
:nono: :nono: :nono:

Ummmm...a loud amph is not anything like phone sex. It's more like regular sex but with less drama and commitment.:dude:

I knew there would be sig material coming out of this! Darn it, Pancake man stole it in front my fingers...
i'll happily give it to you robert.... :master: :master: :master:

But I don't want it now... I don't know where it's been... :D :rotflmao:

That one right there is sig worthy.

You guys have issues for sure. I don't want to know what they are exactly. :pancake:

Lasts a lot longer, too.

Believe me, I hated to let it go, 'cuz that amph has killer tone. But at 30 all-tube watts, it was just W-A-A-A-Y too loud for my play-at-home needs. Feels good to sell it to an accomplished guitarist who will crank it up, the way it should properly be used! :AOK: :dude:

You should just have joined a famous rockband, and kept the amp, Vood!
Oh, yeah--that's a good idea. With a daughter starting college in the fall, deciding to pursue rock stardom at age 57 sounds like a prudent financial course, don't you think?

Look at that amp now, subject to being played over a phone! It probably feels ridiculed to no end now.
Well, I'm hoping that phone thing was just an anomaly. If I hear of Spuds committing further "deviant acts" with it, I may have to stage an intervention! ;)

Uh oh. Is this going to turn into one of those unplugged scenes? I don't know if I can handle that.

BTW - is there any way to make the amph louder?

hey spuds in your pictures is that crate a power block? I hardly ever see those things anymore. Didn't they quit making them?

Power Blocks have been discontinued. Rumor is that there might be something similar yet more reliable on the way. I have yet to gig with mine but would have no qualms about doing so. It's a fine amp especially with pedals.

Nice

Nice looking classic amp Spud.

I can only imagine how that baby sounds.

I'll have to learn how to listen to clips from this site.

At first glance I thought it was one of those Gibson point to point amps that MF practically gave away a couple weeks ago. This is even nicer.

Click on the link then click "play." If it hangs up then you need to hold the 'control' key as you click play.
