i ran into this place while looking for backing tracks and im glad i did. hopefully i wont make a nuisance of myself and if i do you can blame spudman!
the track that google offered me featured a few fret.net players but i was tee totally blown away by spud.
anyway... judging by what ive seen thus far on this board it was well worth the time to register.
thx

Welcome Stroker. Does your call sign make you a Burt Reynolds, or a CDB fan?
i dont think either apply. i dont know what CDB is so i cant say for sure, but it has to do with work.

Uh oh. What did I do this time?

Might as well blame me for the Chinese loosing the gold medal in ping pong while you're at it guys.:whatever:

Thanks for the compliment Stoker. The guys around here never share their real feelings. I can tell you on the other hand are a man of great integrity so welcome to the forum.

That's sweet - I wonder if it will fit in my 86 Toyota 4x4 :rotflmao:

To answer your questions:

a) Stroker Ace (movie)

b) CDB = Charlie Daniels Band, who provided the theme song for above.

Welcome Strokerace! Spud let me know you would be coming on. Have fun!

I did? Thick smoke in your part of town by any chance? :poke: He googled us Buckwheat. That is the other guy that you are thinking about...the one that I actually know.

(sorry stoker I just had to give my bud a hard time about his aging mental capacity:D )

sorry i missed all this. i must have to set my account to get email notifications of new replies.

dont thank me for compliments spud... youve obviously worked very hard... and for that i thank YOU for a little more inspiration!

the kit is a roland.. but beyond that im clueless. my roommate is the drummer. hes always saying "you hear that hi-hat?" or something like that and most of the time just out of kindness i say yes. is it wrong to block out everything but the guitar? if so... im workin on it.

it will. even if its stubborn. i have a hammer for every situation. each one bigger than the last.

thanks for the links too. im 36 years old and have seen the movie but dont remember much about it. i do some online racing too and thought it would be a cool name. but i dont wear a chicken suit while driving. :D

anyway.. thanks again guys for the warm welcome and maybe spud can get us some more gold medals on the next go 'round.
