New Roland Cube XL Series Amps

This was touched upon in another thread, but I think it deserves its own.

I have a Cube-30X, which has been superceded by the Cube-40XL, which has more power and features than the 30, yet is less expensive, at $199. There are 15, 20, an 80-watt versions, as well. Roland does it again.

seems logical, but looking at the Roland site, they still offer the CUBE 15-20-30X. Could be a slow transition.

That was my original conclusion until I looked at retailer sites, some of which already aren't offering the older models. I think it's a fair guess that the X-series is no longer being manufactured but that there is still old stock yet to be sold, maybe soon at blowout prices, because who in their right mind would buy one now that the improved and cheaper ones are available.
