New strings

Hi all, I was using D'addario 10-46 and was getting bad ringing or some kind of ghost notes from my high E string I thought it was me and my playing, but I tryed everything to make it stop I just could not do it, so I put on some Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom 10-52 and it sounds great my bar cords sound real balanced and clean, Have any of you had this problem or tryed these strings?

I use D'addario 10-46 on all my electric guitars and never had a problem, except for the buzzing fret which we have spoken about in another post.

Hi Robert, the strings where new and I left them on for about 2.5 weeks Just could not figure it out.

I've been playing D'Addario 10-46's for the better part of 25 years with no problems. Was it the first set of D'Addarios you tried? Perhaps a bum set?

Anyhow, good to hear that you solved the problem and are back in action.
