Jay over at Guitar Fetish has just posted three new Xaviere guitar models for 2009--a chambered double cutaway dual humbucker model, and two versions of a new semi-hollowbody, one with humbuckers (335 style) and one with dogear P90's (Casino type). All three are in the $300 range, with arrival expected Jan. 15. They look pretty nice!

UPDATE! Looks like they're also expanding the available colors for 2009 in several of the older Xaviere models, too. So now you can get a XV-870 Strat copy in my co-favorite (along with Surf Green) color combo:  :AOK: :dude:

I wuz gonna say 'Pepto Bismol'....

However, the first three look beautiful! I love all the details, diamond fret markers, etc. That Casino:drool: .....

BTW, I want to get Robert to add a new rule. Anyone that gets my GAS going three or more times has to buy me the last item they bring to my attention. I believe this is two for you - you're on the bubble.

Note to self, convince Robert to post new rule.

How have the Xavieres been based on quality for the price being paid? I'm not familiar with them and have never known anyone that owns a Xaviere.

I got an XV600 when they first came out and loved it. I wrote about it here. Just a flat-out awesome guitar.

I only sold it because I wanted to get a fiesta red one, but then the CV teles came out, and there went my guitar budget. Sigh.

Couldn't upload the pics (too big, and I don't know how to resize), but I want to take one of these and turn it into an Esquire, with a stacked humbucker in the bridge with a coil tap switch, and the three position Esquire wiring, but with the "cocked wah" wiring in position 3.

Should be the cheapest way to go, although at this stage, it's just wishful thinking.

I love the color on this thinline, and would leave it stock.

Aaarrrrggg....!

I'm so bloated from GAS already and now this....:thwap:

It's Christmas, I've already over-spent on my wife, and now another shot of GAS to add to what I had from last week. (Rondo has the AD-3000M double cut with the full 3/4" flame maple top and mahogany neck listed again. I haven't stopped panting for four days... ).

Lawd have mercy, what's a po' boy ta do....

The XV700 thinlines got me drooling not long ago. I really need an LP to go with DVMs Rodent. :D
Check out the Agile's at Rondo, too. Great LP knockoffs.

BTW, you're gonna need a ZYS and a Mega-Muff to round out your OD-distortion-fuzz pedal lineup! Or maybe an ESV Fuzz or 2-Knob Bender! ;)
