Made in China, but man this is a nice guitar. I love the double cut-away and easy access to all the frets. The quilt top looks great, also like the open book style headstock and the fat binding around the body. Not too crazy about the abalone trim all over the front of the guitar, but the guitar plays so nice I decided to disregard my hate :)

I think I will be putting some gibson 57 classics in this one - it'll be quite a machine.

pics or it didn't happen right?? :)

Purdy guitar. What's it sound like? LP?

It's a bit punchier than an LP - probably the wood. Also it's got a bit of an arch to the top and I'm sure it's chambered because it's not a boat anchor.

Sustain is great - it's got a set neck. The pickups are stock and sound ok but get muddy with hard playing. Neck feels very nice and the string spacing feels a bit different too but not by much. It's one of those guitars where my fingers just seem to naturally fall into the right spot.

Better pickups is all thing needs. 2 Volume, 1 tone for the controls with typical 3-way switch.

Very nice Progrmr! She's a real beaut! Never played a Hamer but from what I've seen, they're very nice guitars.

Score! I'm not usually a fan of abalone binding, but it accents your guitar perfectly. It's a real beauty!

What are the specs on this guitar? Woods? Scale? No big deal if it plays great, but I've seen more than a few bargains on this model (or variants thereof) on the 'bay, and I'm curious.

I'm a fan of setneck doublecuts, and it's hard to find a carved top that nice at an affordable price.

If Epiphone would do a similar model, it would sell a lot of guitars.
