NGD, I got my ovation.

I've been playing on a terrible Silvertone I bought for 20 bucks at a party while in a very drunken state of mind. I only actually bought it so the kid that was playing would stop and I could put it in my car. Unfortunately for my wallet I started playing and fell in love. Flash forward a bit and I met another player and constantly snuck away to play his Ovation Acoustic-Electric every chance I had.

Well, after a ****** week I decided to finally spend my extra cash on a new guitar. I went down to Guitar Center as they actually stock Ovations here and my usual local place does not. I played quite a few brands but kept falling back to the same guitar.

I ended up with the GC28-AB and really love it.

See, I'm a smaller guy and I can lounge on the couch and really hold on to it pretty easily. I like that the rounded back doesn't dig into me. I have never cared for the look of the back, but oh well. I can deal with the back being the funny fake color since I love the tone these have, especially when I amp it and crank it up. I wish I didn't like my neighbors. ;-)
