It's a pretty small modification, but I switched to the white pearloid pickguard and contrasting black middle pickup cover. I much prefer this look to the stock tortoise shell guard and white p'up cover. IMO, this is how the Nashville Tele should be outfitted in the first place! Here's the "Before" and a couple of "Afters":

Yeah, I like that look a lot better. All the way around. I would love that tortoise shell PG on another color tele. Once in a while, I think about a tortoise shell PG on my blizzard pearl strat.
