New-To-Me Guitar Day... ultra-cheap Yamaha Pacifica in rough shape, the basic 112M, not one of the "fancier" versions, I believe. Missing e string and jack, trem+bridge in bad shape.
Very light body, O.K. light-maple neck. HSS, one tone and one volume pots, 5-way switch.
I think I will try blocking the trem assembly and securing the bridge, and solder a jack receptacle and see what happens!
I would be fun to make it a hardtail with an aftermarket hardware set from StewMac or such. Hmm...
