Orange CR35LDX

Anyone played with one of these? SS amp, similar price-range to Fender Mustang II, Roland Cube 40XL, VOX vt40+.

Not a modelling amp, just a basic 2 channel with effects. Purely based on reviews and youtube demos this amp seems to put out some nice clean tones, which is what I'm after. The simplicity appeals too - I don't need lots of models that I won't use. Took me about an hour in a shop the other day to get some tones I liked out of the VOX - I find all the electronics a bit over the top.

I'm thinking about the Orange for a prac amp (it has aux input and headphone jack) and for jamming. Anyone currently using this Orange? How have you found it?

You'll be very happy with this little Orange Crush. And it's not just a practice amp - I lined it out at a smallish gig, and it sounded great. This one really nails the 'Orange' sound, IMO. Go for it....and at such a low price, if you change your mind later you won't lose on a sale.
