....and I sure hope it doesn't break.

I came across this, and after checking out the seller and finding nothing suspicious, I bought it:

http://underbid.com/cgi-bin/underbid/underbid.cgi?action=display_record_item&item=1051777746

I suspect that it's just a pricing mistake, because the listing indicates nothing about defects, open box, refurb, etc. So if it works out, I get a nice guitar for ultra-cheap, and if it doesn't, I'll probably just wash out about even. Seemed worth the risk to see where it goes.... :whatever:

Oh no! You didn't did you? Well if you did then you are going to be totally amazed. Right now you have no idea of how good a score you just landed. Congratulations and welcome to the reality of the new Squire line. I'm envious...really.

Wow, thats very pretty. I wish I could afford to get an SSS strat instead of my HH. Great buying. Review please. :)

I had to check that site. This is too funny.
I think they must have stuff screwed up between the seller (Geartree.com) and the Underbid site listings. I really don't expect to receive the guitar--somebody will catch the mistake and they'll cancel the shipment and (hopefully) refund my $107....

I would have thought that they would be obligated to send it to you once you have paid for it. Buying such a thing online is generally considered to be a contract of sorts and contracts work both ways.

That's the theory, I guess, but people violate or negate contracts all the time. We'll see what happens, but I only give this about a one in five chance of actually happening....

Break a leg with it! Obviously, great price. I recently got a used/modded Squier Strat for right around a Benjamin too, and have been happy with it so far.

Keep us posted.

Oh, well....nice try!

As I suspected, just a total screw-up on the Underbid site. Got this notification through PayPal from the seller, Geartree.com, this morning:

I'm sorry, but our Underbid account is not supposed to be active. The SKU for the item you bought is actually a drum, not a guitar. I don't know how this happened. I am issuing you a full refund. Sorry for the confusion.
Well, it was exciting while it lasted! My payment has already been refunded 100%, so no harm done....

Aren't you suffering from debiltating anguish and loss of performance due to Underbid's actions, DVM?

I'm not sure that you'll ever resemble your former self. That's gotta be worth something, don't ya' think? :poke:

I'm not sure that even a triple-sized Vi@gra-Ci@lis-Levitra cocktail will be able to restore me to the bastion of virility that I was before this shameful ruse emasculated me. Oh, the humiliation!! I'm sure the jury will be very sympathetic.... ;)
