I still say that ought to be a sticky. I just checked and it's halfway down page 2 in Open Mic already...... if Spud or someone doesn't link to it or bump it every day or so, it gets buried pretty quickly.....OK, I'm done ranting.......

The world's best pancake.

I just made a stack of huckleberry pancakes from the berries I picked this summer. It was August and we'd just spent a week at 8,000 feet in the Sawtooths and on the way down the berries were just starting to ripen. I stopped and picked 2 quarts. I was digging around the freezer this morning and found about 1/2 quart of frozen berries. Now the world is a much better place. I can almost taste the summer in them. Yum yum!
