Pat Metheny Group

One of my earlier jazz interests, Pat Metheny Group was always ski music to me. Especially this first song. Great to listen to as you approach the hill in a snow storm, and imaging blasting through large drifts of powder when the cymbals crash. The smoothness of it all fits too.

I love Pat Metheny, especially the album he did with Scofield.. top notch

Pat Metheny is probably my all-time favorite Jazz guitarist. I never get tired of hearing him play. For some reason, he's not that popular amoungst guitar players, but I have always liked him.

One of my first albums that I ever bought in high school was the LP called "American Garage". I listened to that album over, and over, till I wore it out. In the first fusion band that I ever played in we did "Phase Dance" which is also one of my favorite Metheny tunes.
