Peavey Windsor half stack - sound like?

I was going through the amp models on my Adrenalinn III and I hit the Diesel VH4 model and the tone makes me think of the Windsor. Granted that it's going through my Blackheart Handsome Devil head so I don't know how colored it is but that tone.

Was the Windsor modeled after another amp?

They were designed to sound like old school late 60's early 70's Marshall's.
My guitar teacher has one and they are really cool amps for the money and very ballsy and loud.
