Might be the same guys that do the Korean Epi's/Gretsches.
They made at least this '05 Epi Casino:

While this is an exceptionally well made Casino, head & shoulders over any newer Chinese or Indonesian onces, regardless of the e-bay seller's hyperbole, Peerless is a long way off from Heritage. Here's their website to see them without the hype;

ouch, and I've heard it said that even Heritage aren't all that... good thing I didn't mention Benedetto in the same breath as Peerless! Lots of good sounds and comments from their higher grade guitars lately, couldn't they have upped their game significantly from a few years back?

I'm sure some folks regard Heritage as overrated. And there are those who are clueless to Benedetto. I think my comment was mistaken as disparaging rather than realistic. Peerless makes very fine guitars in their own right; that's why I was stupid enough to grab that Casino, one of the last they made for Gibson/Epiphone, when I had the chance. But if I had a shot at a Heritage H-530 I'd ante up this Peerless Casino to help fund the purchase in a heartbeat.

I like Peerless guitars quite alot. I talked with them about making guitars for me a couple of years ago but by that point they were solely focusing on building their own brand. They seem to be very serious about what they do and their guitars are really beautiful. Have only played one (a Monarch I believe) and it was a real nice player.

I own a Renaissance. It's an '07 (all solid maple), the only year they were solid.
That guitar is the real deal...
