After my wedding gig, I went to a cool guitar store and tried a nice amph.
Namely this one - http://www.dividedby13.com/sjt1020.html

SJT 10/20. Very, very nice sounding amp!

The one I tried was a combo. The switch between class A and AB was nice. Not much volume difference, but it went from Fender to Vox with that switch. Nice, big, almost blackface tones on AB setting, then into Vox territory with that shimmery top end and grit on the class A setting.

These things don't come cheap though. However, if you are serious about tone and want the best and have too much money, take a look at Divided By 13. All their amps are pretty much the schitznitz.

Definitely a sweet amp...the price range is a bit steep for alot of folks though.

I was talking a look at these amps by Valvetech...can do the Fender 6v6 amp or the Vox AC-30 thing (two different amps though). These are priced reasonably for a "boo-teek" amp and get some pretty good reviews:

Check out the Hayseed (AC-30 clone) and the 22-watt amp (with a master volume too!)
