Pretty cool new Reverend (guitar, that is)

I was just reading the same review! The sound files sound great. This guitar has a big range of tone thanks to the bass contour knob. That simple knob works really well on my P-90's. Too bad I already have a Strat, 'cause this is a cool SSS.

They also have a limited edition version with Wilkinson V-50 tremolo and reverse headstock...

I cant get past the hole they left around the bridge pup.

Shallow, I know. I'd just go with a Nashville with a proper bridge plate.

Yep, they dropped the ball there. That was also the complaint in the review. You can't lower the bridge pickup enough.

I really would like to love Reverend guitars, but I think the body shapes are generally hideous. Also, I had a Flatroc that I bought right out of their booth at NAMM in '06, and although the guitar played extremely well and stayed in tune no matter what, it squealed like a banshee in heat when cranked up. The pickups were unpotted. Joe Naylor offered to take it back, but I dumped it on Ebay. No more Reverends for me.

I don't quite understand why I don't own a Reverend yet. I think they're well made, very good players and an excellent value. Plus Joe Naylor is a very knowledgeable, stand up guy who stands behind his products. I guess it has just been a question of timing for me.

That Sensei looks stunning. Hmm...
