Question on adding feedback to a 5 watt se amp ?

Has anyone had experience with adding feedback on a 5 Watt se tube amp such as the Crate V5 or the Epi Valve Jr.? I am starting to modify a V5 to be a head instead of a combo amp and have been thinking of adding a presence control for variable feedback. If you go to Schematic Heaven and look at Fender Champ schematics you will see that they had fixed feedback. From the output transformer to the cathode resistor on the triode that drives the grid of the output tube. While I am going to add a capacitor with a rheostat across the cathode resistor so you can dial the feedback down or out completely. Let me know what you think, thanks.
