Tone, this is a different kind of pedal. It's not a distortion pedal, it's a booster pedal.

That video on that page with Scott explaining it is worth watching.

I know, I'm just picking on you. Besides someone's gotta steer you toward putting that money into an amp dude.

You tell him, Tone!!! :bravo:

And if you want a great booster pedal, Robert, THEN.... :poke:

Ohh ahhhh

That pedal is just too damn sexy !
Must be expensive...... ;)

Well, I got me one of these RC Boosters SH model now. Will try it out tonight and let you know what I think.

Blazes asked about the difference between this one and the previous one, and as far as I understand, the new one provides the option for more bass. That's a good thing for me - I could use a bit more bass response.

Well, I'm back from sound check and guys, I think I found my dessert island (:) ) pedal! This thing is terrific. I love the fact that I can boost the bass, and it does work wonders. My gear tends to be a bit low on the bass, so this takes care of that. Wonderful pedal! :AOK:

I'm looking forward to a vid as well. It looks like a great pedal.

BTW, the Tim & Timmy pedals have a bass-cut knob & a treble-cut knob that work really well. There is no active boost to these frequencies, but the Tim pedal has an effects loop. If you put an EQ pedal in the loop you can have total tone shaping control. Actually, the boost mode of the Tim pedal has a tone knob which is supposed to be an active low-end tone control. I am not familiar with the Tim as I only have the Timmy.

Here's a video, but he doesn't use the effects loop on the Tim.

Watch for his daughter Sadie if not for the pedal demo.

Another Tim demo:
