For my birthday me and my dad are redoing my strat the other day we ordered new tuners, were getting a handwired faceplate with GFS pickups with a new pickup switch and all that jazz. Were gonna paint it too pretty soon too. Any suggestions for a new color, I was thinking like pete townshend red.

That old style white is cool,I dont know what its called its just old lookin. What pups are ya puttin in there.Let us know and how they sound, ect. Sumi :D

How about black like Clapton's favorite? 'Course, I'm a fan of red guitars, so the Townsend red'll look just fine. Good luck with it!

well my guitar is already black so I'm trying to do something radicaly different

How about a metallic red? BTW, you'll like the Guitar Fetish pickups if you've never used them before.

Cool, we ordered a new tremolo for my bridge and we have to measure the holes on my tuners (to get new ones)

well all the parts came yesterday, And we decide were gonna paint it white. Can't wait:dude:

Good choice Kris:AOK: That is what I would have chose, I am thinking of white on a guitar build down the road. What shade of white? Arctic white, off white, aged white?
