I am thinking fretboard, chord diagrams and the like.
Homemade mnemonic devices? Someone here mentioned a printed Excel chart once.

Something you can glance at once in a while to verify something on the fly, or to reinforce what the ear tells you.

I am aware that there are commercial products for that, but there is no telling if they fit one individual weak spots?

Hmm, I have a chord chart, but it hangs where I used to play, rather than where I play now. Some scale patterns might be cool. But since the computer is right where I play, I just use that.

We've got some posters of hot chicks on the walls, dunno who put them up though. Also some freaky poster pictures of some goth nurses with bloody lips or opened wrists, dying or dead or something like that on one wall, I dunno where those came from either. And then there's some satanic looking stuff from some other guys we share the area with.

I tend to pin lists of song names or lyric sheets on the walls here and there.

Well I think that is a good idea, (corkboard where you can post something). then you can put up a chart of whatever you are working on learning. It could be scale patterns, CAGED stuff, whatever you are focusing on. I guess you would either enlarge and print something you found on chordie or whatever, or from an ebook. I am working from an ebook right now that has some charts of basic concepts I am committing to memory. And if one spend 20 minutes learning how, I am sure one could make their own in excel or similar.

I'm useless...

Speaking of lessons from the Masters, someone is making me a pair of Jimmy Page pants... 'cause she hemmed the jeans too short the first time around!

I need to borrow/steal a Les Paul so I can take a pic!
