They've got new (Spertzle-like) locking tuners (everyone seemed to hate the Wilkinsons)
I don't know how much is due to upgraded components (neck binding & pearl block inlays on the set-necks). It does seem like the falling dollar & increased gas prices are starting to drive GAS prices up.
