I went to see alesana last night. It was incredible, the best show I have ever been to..
They came on, and had the crowd going crazy right off the bat.. they all had such incredible energy and passion, and it wasn't a very big venue so you could easily reach out and touch them if you wanted to (or turn off their pedals, if you felt like being an *******
). the screamer even held out the mic to people in the crowd so we (me three times) got to scream some lines and feel like a part of it.
At one point shane, the bassist, jumped up and grabbed onto pipes on the ceiling and started swinging from them and hanging upside down, while the pipes looked close to giving..
got me 2 picks and a setlist.. Then afterwards, i got to meet them outside, talk to them, get some autographs and photos.. a bunch of really down-to-earth guys.
came home, and couldnt sleep for hours because the ringing in my ears was too loud.
just thought i'd share my excitement
a solid 10/10 for that show. wow.
