We went to see Don Henley last night at the Soboba Casino arena, a 4000 seat venue and we had 8th row seat a bit stage left..they were great seats! He basically had the same lineup from the Eagles last tour with the exception of the bass player and one guitarist, never did get their names. Stuart Smith was definately smoking. They did a bunch Eagle songs and Henley solo songs. The guys were really enjoying themselves and it showed, Henley was cracking jokes and better/more personable that I expected.
BUT!!! Heres the best part, tix for this were 150 per seat 3 bones for me and the wife....yes a bit much but what the hell. We get there have a great Prime Rib dinner then play some slots. Wellllllllll we won between the two of us 695.00
so it worked the whole night was FREE!! with a nice chunk of change left over. Great show great date with my bride and came out $$$ ahead.

Stuart is a damn good musician I would have loved to have seen that show. I love Don. He reminds me of one of our old IT dudes...kinda uptight yet funny in a strange way. You're right he's not so personable outright but it's good that you saw him in a good mood. I have yet to see him by himself I love his music.
