I've heard people give all different prices for set-ups and I've heard people refer to different things that make up a set-up. Now realizing that the set-up would consist of the degree of problems, what is usually included in a standard set-up?
I never had a guitar set-up. I've made adjustments/changes to my acoustics (saddle swaps and truss rod adjustments). Those two things seem to have taken care of most issues, although I guess a professional set-up would yield benefits. As for my electrics, only done truss rod adjustments on my ARC300 and G400.
The average prices I've heard
Acoustic: $40 to $80
Electric: $50 to $100
So what other things are usually included in a set-up?
