ok, my story begins a few weeks back. i had two rural dockets to go to on the same day. i actually start off in one county and shiner has a case that day, too. something that never happens since we started being a couple; we get to see each other 'in action' as attorneys. [it's a conflict for us to work cases together]

i leave that county to run to another rural county.

i have 15 minutes to grab lunch. i run to the subway behind the annex, and on the way back, i see a hanging banner/sign.

i stop, transfixed, sandwich bag swinging, agog.

and then i just start laughing and can't stop.

this sign had to have been made by my husband's long lost cousin.

i had no way to capture it pictorially until i went back to that county earlier this week.

Shiner, something for you to ponder.

A lot of English language TV stations have the feature where you can get sub-titles scrolled across the bottom in Spanish. When you are watching the women on the Spanish channel delivering the news, don't you wonder what they are saying and why don't they have English scrolling across the bottom of the screen? That's where I get my news these days and the reason I don't know what the he11 is going on.
