Hollow and semi-hollow bodied guitars are fun and if you've never had one I highly recommend them. In fact I think even playing different styles of solid bodied guitars tends to get you playing a bit differently from how you might normally play on the guitar you're accustomed to.
Not all of these are ES-335's but they're all Gibsons. The first one is a '66 ES-335, you can see where B.B. was nice enough to autograph the back. It's hard to see but hanging on the rack to the left of it in the first photo is an Epiphone version of a Les Paul Signature. It was an amazing guitar. I was lucky enough to find an original '73 Gibson version back in the early 90's, that's the semi-hollow goldtop. The last pic is a Johnny A model.

Holy smokes, Bob! I love how you pull out a few guitars from your collection and blow us away! :drool
A friggin' '66 ES-335 signed by BB King? Then you toss in the '73 Les Paul Signature, followed by one of my favorite guitars ever made, the Johnny A.

Remind me to never play cards with you.

Here's a '00 Epi Dot I bought used off of eBay a few years back. Has a Duncan Jazz in the neck position and a JB at the bridge. Wired Jimmy Page style, with 4 push-pull pots:

Ooooohhhhh.... Heritage...Epi...Gibson.... DROOOL! They all look great. 'panky, you just had to show those other guitars... The Johnny A is awesome, along with the LP Deluxe and LP signature... Is that a custom Tele I see? Your home must be like a musician's dream guitar playground.

DVM, I forgot about your Dot. Do you still have it? That red is just a classic color. NICE!

Woo hoo there are some purdy guitars in this thread! I like 'em all. Yhat gold top Gibby is HOT and something I have never seen before. Those different cutaways are cool!

Beautiful guitars Steve, Spuds, Tio! I knew the Hagstrom contingent would come along, and I'm surprised that we have as many Heritage owners here as well... Robert, didn't you have a Hag at one time?

DVM-Wired Jimmy Page style, with 4 push-pull pots: what exactly does that mean?

I used to also have an Epiphone version of that goldtop too. The Epi was a wonderful guitar, just flawless. There are lots of great looking guitars in this thread, I'd like to try every one of them. I never even held a Heritage. The pickguards on those are cool

That is a really cool guitar too. I would love to play one. I like that trapeze style bridge too.

That particular sub-type of trapeze tailpiece is called a "harp." Used on some Guilds and some of the DeArmond line that emulated Guilds. I had one on a DeArmond M-75 but preferred the stoptail on my M-72, though the harp is cooler looking.

Somewhat oddly, I've never had a 335-style guitar. As small as I am, they make me look even more vertically-challenged. If I were to get one it'd be a scaled-down version like a CS-336 (not that I'll ever be able to afford one of those). The only non-thinline (Dano-type construction with stanadard Fender-size body) semi I have is my WildKat, which is also a smaller body than most standard-sized semi's. It's just right for li'l ol' me.

Cool pics you boys!

No Gretschs? I was GASing for one of those, but no moolah. I'd have to sell a couple somethings to afford one, even the cheap ones which go for $500 or so used. I really, really want a hollow/semi-hollow someday.

I hear ya, RH... I've had permaGAS for a Gretsch for a long time! You may also want to look into the Ibanez Artcore line. Used they are cheaper than the Gretsch and with a pup swap for some GFS Retrotrons they can be just as twangy.
