Inspired by Spud’s thread on blue guitars and knowing that quite a few members have green guitars, I decided to start this thread.

So here I go. Korean made 2003 Burns Steer, a graduation present from my wife (how cool is that!). It’s alder chambered body. What can I say, it’s design is a “love it or hate it” type of thing, and I happen to love it.

Thanks Spud! :)

BTW, that's one of my paintings in the background.

Thanks Ross.
As far as the clips goes, I’m working on that area. I just bought a Boss BR 600, and I’m figuring it out. I’m a total newbie when it comes to recording. Considering my frequent episodes of frustration it may take me a while to put up some decent clips.

cool guitar adrian...as promised...here is my contribution.

A 1998 Gibson Les Paul Special in a limited color called Spearmint.

No way Spud! I just can't believe! (I'm not being sarcastic here).

You gotta do something about it...:rotflmao:

I haven't found a green guitar that I really want or like. I did find some stuff lodged in a bridge spring once that was green. I don't know what it was. Does that count?

I have a green Fernandas bass and a greenish Godin ST-IV. The Godin is a weird color, I call it green, some may not. Green is not my favorite color when it comes to guitars, but how they play matters to me much more than what color they are.

Ive got a tv yellow faded special but with the 490/498 combo .I love the finish .It was done up with a modern rsguitarworks wiring kit and sounds huge.I love the soapbar ones though and will have to add to my collection:beer:

Again I am struck by that guitar case,s
"venusian folds". ;)

What the heck, it worked in the "Blue Guitar" thread! ;) :D

Maybe I can use this one and the original red version on my Christmas cards this year! Yeah, that's the ticket....

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: Voodooman, that's great.
I was expecting to see this one in green. I was wondering on the shade of green you'd choose. It's looking really cool, so I say good choice...

You made me laugh seriously...

For someone with so many guitars and so much knowledge, of course it counts.

We try! ;)

Re: the color choice, I only had one. I use the RGB color swap function in Irfanview to do this. So red, blue & green are the only choices! It's just fortuitous that except for the body paint in that photo, everything else is essentially "hueless"--black, white and shades of gray. So when I do the color swap, only the guitar body changes color noticeably! :D

BTW, I really like that Burns guitar of yours--very unique! It's nice to see something truly different. :AOK:

Could you tell us more .... describe the crap out of that BURNS?...I saw a guitarist in an Indi rock band playing one of these.....I need details!

LGC, I'll post a review soon. It's a good guitar but it does have few "week spots". I'll try to cover them all.

In the meantime, Voodoo, if I may...

That is just incredibly unique. Never seen one anything like it...I'd love to try one out.

Thank you Rabies. It was its unique look that got me interested in this guitar, and its a very decent player, too.

Voodooman, it's a great shot! After you pointed out the "hueless" background, I was curious to try manipulating the image in Photoshop. Virtual GAS, I guess.:D

Lagrange, I'd take both, too. Oh, and the blue one and the red one...:rotflmao:
