Simon Townsend

This could be another one of those "living in a cave" moments, but I didn't know of Simon, didn't know he was Peter's brother. I also didn't know he has performed with The Who. I just found out he has released five CD's

Strum ..I don't think many people have heard of him.

I first heard Simon in Baltimore at a guitar clinic for Brian Moore guitars,he and his band at the time were the guest artists that night...this was back in 97.
I had never heard of him either,but he and his band were great that night,I was totally surprised...he has a really great voice and plays really well also.
at that time he had just came out with their first cd [Among Us]and were touring the US. It was a great show and he is a really nice person to talk with and great sense of humor. I also got a signed copy of the cd. I also took my daughter and grandson...they loved it:AOK:

I like Simon's voice better than Pete's *ducks to avoid flying objects*.

Sounds like he writes a good tune, too!

I totally agree Katastrophe...after hearing him live that evening,I think he is much better!
