small body acoustic

[iowa newbie]

I'm in the market for a small body acoustic, kind of a blues/fingerstyle acoustic. I've run across a couple that seem to get good reviews, but arre not available in my area. They are:
Morgan Monroe Blues 45 (00?)
Blueridge br 43 (000)
Durango B44 (grand Concert)
anyone with some firsthand knowledge of these or any others in the same category...They all run somewhere betwen $250 and $375...

I keep thinking the same thing.. but he is dead..so I just wanna be myself... for now..

I also been looking for awhile at the 00 size.. there is an Epiphone for $349.00 I keep reading good reviews on... about ready to take the plunge.. you might want to check it out for the Johnson sound...

3 things really important in an acoustic.
1. Sound-Sitting on the couch playing an acoustic is all about how the guitar sounds. No effects or amp to help the guitar. Play it first.
2. Nut width-I don't really like anything but 1 3/4 inch nut. My preference. Find one that is comfortable to you.
3. Body size-You seem to have a preference there already. Smaller body tends to have a quieter acoustic volume. Of course jumbos will be louder.

+1 on that. This model is the Epiphone version of the Gibson Blues King, which in turn is based on the Gibson L-00 that Robert Johnson played. Sounds like the axe for you, right enough.

This little Epi is pretty close in dimensions to the '70s Epi that I have. It's one damn nice guit-fiddle!
