So you think you can drive?

Thanks for that, I love watching Ken drive. Forget "The Stig" if I could get a ride with someone it'd be Ken Block. I'm lucky enough to have been for quite a few blasts round the dirt with some of this countries best rally drivers (I was a sponsor, not a co-driver) and even if you have no interest in motorsport, I say it's a must do. The things those guys do with those little cars has to be seen and felt to be believed. In that video I kept thinking "I wonder how long that engine would last if the rev limiter failed?" it sounded like it was bouncing off the limit the entire time hehe.

Pretty cool, although I think the sound of that engine would eventually drive me insane. Of course, I'm a muscle car guy, so there ya go.

What kind of car was that in the video? I saw a Ford badge on it.

I like those souped up imports a la The Fast and the Furious, but I like the 60s muscle cars better. My dream car is a '69 Plymouth GTX. Maybe in another life. :rollover

Cool vid! I love track driving, and did just a very little bit in Seattle with the PNW Alfa Club in the 90's. @Arnold, while I like a good vintage muscle car sound, I don't like the handling. This is the sound that I love. (prepare for partial thread hijack)

My old college and law school era '76 Alfetta GT sounded like this on the track. My older Berlina (sedan version) I have now sounds the same, but without an ANSA tip on the exhaust. I have never driven it on the track or in a rally though.

Fun stuff! Gets my juices flowing!

Just found this. This is what my car looks and sounds like. though I don't drive it that way, yet. :AOK Needs me some suspension parts first. Motor's ready though.

I guess that's one way to go through a set of tires. :D

Watching this I just felt like something was missing.

That's a Ford Fiesta I believe. That said, the similarities between that one and a showroom model are minimal ;)

I remember a buddy in high school had a 70 GTX with the electric hood scoop. I'm thinking it had a big block, but not sure now (30 years ago). It wasn't all that fast, but it was one of the few street cars around that could lift the front wheels off the ground, and that was much cooler!

Another buddy had a purple 70 Challenger R/T with a 440 6-pack. This guy could have easily raced professionally with so much natural talent, so we didn't mind him running at 140-150 MPH on the freeway. He usually saved that little stunt for the doodz who tried to race him in their Trans Am 6.6's (which he dumped at a rapid rate once he got up to around 90-100 MPH).

Not sure how we survived those days...

Back in high school, I remember going down a dirt road at about 100mph in a '69 GTO driven by one of my brother's ******* friends. I'm still not sure how I survived that.
