I saw Ronnie Earl in a small club in Leominster, MA and it changed my (guitar) life. What he was doing with a small Fender amp, and a Strat (no pedals) was amazing. He did so much by controlling the volume knob. That was over 7 years ago, and I am still in quest of that level of responsiveness. He's super.
