Here is a tune I recorded dedicated to the legendary Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal.
Hermeto Pascual is a musician, a composer, and a band-leader: he plays all kinds of instruments. Known as one of contemporary jazz genius, this Brazilian appears in his native country as a magician. Hermeto takes us into the deep jungle. In the huge caves of Ribeira’s valley, giant stalactites produce a magical symphony… He draws his musicians into the river. The water is struck and whistled for the pleasure of our ears.
